Ledger's family to attend Batman premiere

The family of late actor Heath Ledger are set to travel from Australia to attend the world premiere of The Dark Knight in New York later this month, a US report says.

The Dark Knight, which director Christopher Nolan has dedicated to Ledger, will have a memoriam to the actor at the end, the Los Angeles Times said.

"Word is that Heath Ledger's family will travel from Australia to attend the world premiere of The Dark Knight, the late actor's final completed film, in New York in late June," the report said.

Ledger plays a psychotic, mass murdering, skateboarding Joker in the film, which will be released in July and has already received rave reviews.

The 28-year-old died from an accidental overdose of multiple prescription medications in his New York apartment on January 22.

The Dark Knight is scheduled for release on July 17.

The inspiration of Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Nick Van Dyk (guitars, bass, keyboards), Redemption proudly unfurls the flag of American progressive metal, as proved by their imposingly rendered eponymous debut of 2003, likewise featuring vocalist Rick Mythiasin (ex-Steel Prophet and New Eden), bassist Jason Rullo (of Symphony X), and guitarist Bernie Versailles, on loanword from the legendary Fates Warning. For their second album, 2005's The Fullness of Time, Redemption gained an extra boost with the guest presence of Fates Warning singer Ray Alder, and bust in some other accomplished round section in bassist James Sherwood and drummer Chris Quirarte -- both at one time of prog rockers Prymary.
